Mennonite Central Committee’s Ottawa Office witnesses to government on issues of peace, justice and human dignity that arise out of MCC’s work in Canada and around the world.
Our advocacy work is rooted in the understanding that we are called by God to be a voice with and for the poor, oppressed and marginalized. It supports MCC’s broader mission of relief, development and peace.
We work with a number of coalitions while trying to bring a unique, Anabaptist perspective to the work of political engagement.
